To best serve both Mecosta and Osceola Counties, MOTA offers same-day and same-week bookings for all riders beginning the first week of January 2025.

If inquiring about transportation for multiple riders or groups for a future date, call and speak with dispatch to ensure adequate busing and staffing. Calling ahead will not result in a scheduled ride for a future date past the same week window.

MOTA offers same day bookings for rides, please note that same day or day ahead exact time request accommodations may not always be available. MOTA Dispatchers will always do their best to accommodate or offer the next best available time.

Please note that scheduled times are subject to change due to any unexpected circumstances that are beyond the control of MOTA or MOTA Bus Operators. You will be notified if your scheduled time has changed.

All routes in Mecosta County are Demand Response.  While there was interest in Route Service, the use does not justify the cost of this type of service at this time.  In an effort to be a good steward of the trust placed in MOTA, we have converted services to Demand Response. 

Buses are in service beginning at 5:00 am with the first available pick-up time for around 5:30 am depending on location, rides will be scheduled until 7:00 pm depending on the location.
